Old Lags

Due to varying reasons, predominately numbers, I have had to cancel the gathering at Doncaster. Would you please publish on your site so to let any possible people that I'm not aware of, know about it. Its a great shame, but maybe the course has been run. Kind regards Tony

Short History of Reunion

Incidently Hank, the history of the 'Old Lags' was that Peter Keddie Allan Mills and myself first met on 2 April 2005 (picture attached).We hoped that we could encourage more of our age group and importantly people that we all knew to come and join us at Doncaster. We thought the years 1958 through to 1964 would be a good time span and called ouselves 'The Old Lags'. It really meant that regardless of income any old 11 Sqdn personell serving during those particular years could meet up with little expense and would in fact know because of the six year time span and overlap each other almost everybody that attended.We were never after the concept of a very big type of reunion, but of course there is a need for this type of function and are pleased that Coventry has got off so well.So Hank could you call us 'The Old Lags' Reunion Doncaster and this will clear up the concept of our particular reunion.

Bath Reunion 2009
